Is it Fall Already?

So....Today is the day I finally update my blog with a few short phrases....It's Fall and I love it and the Boise State Broncos are rockin it again this season!!!! Yeah! Very chilly this morning and a very beautiful sight to see all of the changing leaves. Fall brings the spirit of Thanksgiving into peoples hearts. I love this season when everyone is a little kinder, a little more giving and a little less selfish. I love fall....what can I say?

Since returning from Hawaii I have realized how much I love seasons. I do miss the ocean breeze, and the sound of the waves crashing into the shore. I miss the smell of gardenias and the kind and friendly people we met in our ward in Ewa Beach and the good friends we made there. But I have also realized that there is a season for everything in our lives. We are so blessed that we are given the opportunity to live life to its fullest: to have the gospel in our lives, to laugh, to cry, to make mistakes so that we can learn and grow, to get married, to have a family, to travel, to get the job of our dreams, and to well just be happy!

Calvin and I are adjusting to life back in Idaho and once again living in different cities and apart for a month while he works in the harvest and I returned to St Luke's Hospital in the lab. It hasn't been the easiest transition but I know that it will get better. No baby yet, but hopefully soon to come. We also celebrated our two year anniversary in September. I can't believe it's been two years since I married my best friend! He is the best husband in the world and I love him so much!

I have more pics to post of Hawaii...Stay tuned.....

ALOHA SUMMER

As some of you know..Calvin graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelors in Accounting and we are patiently waiting (yeah right) hahaha for job interviews this fall. I am so proud of Calvin for his hard work and dedication these past four years of school. He is such a good husband and treats me like a queen. I love him so much!! It has been a toss up for us between Calvin going to grad school right away or getting a job, but we are praying really hard as to what we should do. But as for now, we have decided to move to Hawaii for the summer so Calvin can install security systems and manage technicians for Homeland Security Inc. We are super excited and my job has granted me personal leave so I can go. I may or may not have a job when I return in a couple months because my job is not protected, but you only live once. This is Calvin's 3rd summer in Hawaii since we started dating. The first summer he went to Hawaii we got engaged, the second we had just got married and I stayed in Boise to work since I had just started my job at St. Luke's, and this summer we are finally together!!!

I am looking forward to a just a FEW things in Hawaii when I arrive........................

SPRING FEVER

So I am having the worst spring fever ever and it is cold. Booo. I just finished up two days in a row off of work so I could work this weekend and it was a good break. Calvin now has spring break this week and we are planning a camping overnight trip to Lucky Peak or Swan Falls if weather permits..im crossing my fingers. Then he will be job hunting for the summer, taking the GMAT, and applying for grad school this fall to get his CPA and Masters in accountancy. What's two more years right?:) Life is grand isn't it? There are so many blessings and opportunities that the Lord gives us to help us grow and to gain secular and spritual knowledge. I love it!

Is it Spring?

Well today was an unusual day. Sunny..Rain...Sunny...Rain..Sunny. So is it Spring or what? I am ready for it to be like something fierce! Calvin is studying like mad until graduation from Boise State in May. And as for me....I trained a new employee today at work and learned the upmost patience and understanding, realizing how everyone feels the first day of work. Uncertainty, fear, nervousness, are my coworkers nice? Will I be able to catch on to this job easily and efficiently? What if I don't get a lunch? heehee. I am sure everyone has felt this first day of the job feelings as I have. So training was very fun today. Tonight I am trying to figure out how can I get more organization in my life. Any ideas? Working full-time is no excuse for not being organzized I think. I also feel an urgency to become more healthy, it is part of organization right? So it starts tonight...organizing our life one day at a time:)

It's Time

I have finally decided to start this blog. It takes time to keep up a blog and with a full time job and wifely tasks, and the hubs in his final semester of school, what's one more thing on my plate, right?
